Senior Occupational Therapist

SALARY based on experience.

• The Senior Occupational Therapist will be an enthusiastic and motivated person who can combine their clinical skills with a passion for outdoor activity. We expect candidates to be able to demonstrate several years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, working with people with a range of neurological conditions, specifically post-ABI. Experience of working as an OT in residential and/or inpatient settings would be of benefit. We will look for specific experience in neuro-rehabilitation management and an interest and ability to operate in an outdoor environment with clients and support staff.

Centre Support Worker

Calvert Reconnections

To provide creative and dynamic person-led support that empowers, promoting independence throughout an individual’s rehabilitation journey. To play a key role in providing a service that embodies outstanding practice, a service that is caring, safe, effective and responsive. To always ensure that the support offered respects a participant’s dignity, celebrating their uniqueness and diversity.

Overview:
1. To work flexible hours on a rota basis, specifically evenings, weekends and waking/sleeping night shifts.
2. To carry out personal care duties to a high standard.
3. To safely administer medication.
4. To ensure participants’ needs are met as per care plan, including aspects of their rehabilitation, leisure and cultural needs.
5. To undertake cleaning duties throughout the whole Centre and work with participants to complete daily household tasks.
6. To assist with the running of the Centre’s main activities (sailing, canoeing, rock-climbing and hill walking) as well as a number of other activities, for example, archery, orienteering, environmental appreciation etc.
7. To prepare meals and carry out kitchen duties.

Human Resources Manager

SALARY Up to £41,000 per annum (plus 5% prp bonus)

The Lake District Calvert Trust provides challenging outdoor activities for people with disabilities from our three specialist operating centres.
• Calvert Lakes is a 60-bed residential centre providing residential educational courses and short breaks for children and families. www.calvertlakes.org.uk

• Calvert Stables provides riding and trap driving activities to support our residential programmes as well as community activities.

With a key role on the Lake District Calvert Trust Senior Management Team, you will lead the Human Resources (HR) function across the Trust. Reporting to the Centre Director, this is a new role and an opportunity to create a new HR strategy and delivery model. The HR Manager will be accountable for delivery of the full HR lifecycle to all employees and managers and ensuring that Great Place to Work operations are put in place. This role requires someone with experience of working across all HR topics, who is highly organised, has a detailed knowledge of HR processes, policies, and compliance, and who can successfully manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
